Accountability and Reporting

This page outlines the ACE provider accountability and reporting requirements associated with ACFE Board support.

ACE Learner Satisfaction Survey

The Victorian Government’s Budget Paper 3 identifies performance targets that include the ACE Learner Satisfaction Survey. Accordingly, ACE providers are contractually required to participate annually in a satisfaction survey of their learners who have studied ACFE Board funded courses

The learners are asked about satisfaction levels relating to different aspects of their learning experience, the quality of teaching, management of learning, pre-entry advice and guidance, learner support and the benefits and impacts of learning.

Annual computer census

ACE providers that access software via the ACFE Board’s Microsoft Agreement are required to participate in an annual census of computer hardware and software.

The web-based census collects the following information in relation to hardware and software assets within each ACE provider organisation:
  • Computer type
  • Desktop/notebook applications
  • Server products
  • Client access licenses

Providers are issued with a unique password to access their data on the census.

Providers may maintain their census information throughout the year, but must finalise their data each year during the census period. ACE providers will be notified of the census dates via an ACE memo.

Student Statistical Data Collection

Statistical data collection assists ACFE to plan, support and monitor further education and training. Providers are required to record and report their training activity according to the Victorian Statistical Data guidelines, which incorporate AVETMIS Standard. This information may be used to monitor the delivery of ACFE funded training programs.

The information is collected three times during the year, through the link opens new window Data Submission and Validation website of the Office of Training and Tertiary Education (OTTE).
