Economic benefits of ACE


The ACFE Board has commissioned the Allen Consulting Group to undertake a study on the economic benefits of Adult Community Education (ACE). The study will describe and quantify the economic benefits, both private and public, resulting from ACE in Victoria.

'Setting the Scene: Investigating learning outcomes with a view to the future' pinpoints the role and strengths of adult community education in contributing to national and Victorian government goals.

ACE Longitudinal study


A three year study commissioned by the ACFE Board provides evidence that Adult Community Education leads to a range of positive outcomes for learners. ACE provides a platform for further study creates connections with work and expands involvement in community activities. It also strengthens understanding of Australian culture and values, builds communication, life and employability skills.

New members on the ACFE Board


The Minister for Skills and Workforce Participation recently appointed two new members to the ACFE Board - Mr Adrian Nye and Ms Mez Woodward. The Minister also reappointed three members for further terms on the Board.
