Research
This page provides information on the research program of the Adult Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board as well as access to the latest research reports and initiatives to promote effective use of research in Adult Community Education (ACE).
Research program
The ACFE Board recognises the importance of an evidence-based approach to policy and program development through research. The ACFE Board’s research program supports the Victorian Government’s policy directions as set out in the Future Directions for Adult Community Education in Victoria (PDF 771 kb) or (Word 114 kb).
The Board also recognises the importance of linking research to practice. It encourages ACE providers and practitioners to apply the findings to their own contexts and to undertake research of their own to help them design innovative and responsive learning programs and environments that achieve outcomes for learners.
