ACE-TRAX
The ACE-TRAX Resource Kit is for adult community educators interested in working with offenders to develop their vocational skills and improve their prospects of meaningful employment.
It is based on the lessons learned by Adult Community Education providers who worked with the Community Correctional Services branch of Corrections Victoria to pilot an education and training program for offenders serving non-custodial orders.
The kit contains a step-by-step guide to running a training program or service for offenders, a range of supporting templates and tools, and sample schedules. The tools can be adapted to an organisation's particular needs. The two short films communicate the key outcomes of ACE and correctional services working together for a broad audience and the potential benefits for participants of being in a program like this.
