A Stronger ACFE – Delivering Skills for Victoria
Victoria’s adult community and further education (ACFE) sector leads the nation in delivering community-based skills and education programs to individuals and across communities. The sector comprises over 350 not-for-profit Adult Community Education (ACE) providers spread across Victoria. By delivering vocational education and training programs spanning the pre-accredited and accredited qualifications spectrum, each ACE provider is working to meet the diverse skill, economic and social needs of individuals and businesses within the community.
The Victorian Government has long supported ACE providers and recognised the importance of ensuring Victorians can choose to access the quality community based education that ACE providers deliver. That is why ACE forms an important part of Securing Jobs for Your Future – Skills for Victoria, the Government’s ambitious skills reform package released in August 2008.
