Microsoft licensing agreement

The ACFE Board has entered into a three-year (01 Jan 2007 to 31 Dec 2009) agreement with Microsoft that provides licenses for a range of software for desktop and notebook computers and servers.

The Agreement can be accessed (under varying terms and conditions) by:

  • Adult Community Education (ACE) providers
  • Adult Education Institutions
  • Regional Councils

This means that ACE providers can use the Microsoft software covered under this agreement at a significant saving and without incurring additional licensing costs. Media used to install software still needs to be purchased.
