Finalists announced for the 2010 Victorian Adult Community Education Awards
The 2010 Victorian Adult Community Education Awards showcase the inspirational efforts of the adult community education sector including its over 110, 000 learners, 340 ACE organisations and 8,000 practitioners, teachers and centre managers. It’s these people that make ACE a vibrant and integral part of Victoria’s nation-leading training system.The finalists for the six award categories can be found on the Victorian ACE Awards page
Hard to reach learners: What works in reaching and keeping them?
The ACFE Board commissioned the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) to conduct research as part of the New Learner Markets – Hard to Reach Learners project.
While many of the strategies outlined are being used by ACE organisations, there are some terrific case studies of innovative local, national and international best practice.

The Victorian Government has long supported ACE providers and recognised the importance of ensuring Victorians can choose to access the quality community based education that ACE providers deliver.
